The People's New Black Panther Party is calling on you to join us in demanding justice for the Duerson Family in Las Vegas! We are outraged by the tragic death of 34-year-old Adrian Duerson, who was killed in a Hit and Run by Anthony Lopez-Meza. Despite this heinous crime, Anthony has been released on his own recognizance and is freely walking the streets of our city. We demand that Anthony's bond be revoked

We cannot let this injustice stand! Anthony's court date is approaching on April 30th, and it is imperative that we come together to ensure that he is held accountable for his actions. We urge you to email your complaints and concerns, along with a pre-written letter, to District Attorney Steve Wolfson demanding justice for the Duerson Family.

The community will be present at the court hearing on April 30th to demand that he is convicted to the fullest extent as outlined in NRS.484E.010. Your support is crucial in this fight for justice, and together, we can make a difference.

Dear District Attorney Steve Wolfson,

I am writing to you with a heavy heart to demand justice for the family of Adrian Duerson, who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run incident on January 28, 2024. It has come to my attention that Anthony Lopez-Meza is the individual responsible for this heinous crime, and I urge you to take swift and decisive action to revoke his bond, charge him with the appropriate offenses under NRS 484E.010, and ensure his conviction.

The callous actions of Anthony Lopez-Meza in committing a hit-and-run and then attempting to conceal his crime by spray painting his vehicle demonstrate a complete disregard for the law and for the preciousness of human life. His behavior clearly indicates that he poses a significant flight risk, and it is imperative that he be held accountable for his actions.

Under NRS 484E.010, a person failing to comply with the provisions of this statute is guilty of a category B felony and is subject to imprisonment in the state prison for a minimum term of not less than 2 years and a maximum term of not more than 20 years, as well as a fine of not less than $2,000 nor more than $5,000. It is crucial that Anthony Lopez-Meza faces the full extent of the law for his criminal actions.

The Duerson family deserves justice, closure, and the reassurance that the individual responsible for Adrian's untimely death will be held accountable. Failure to act decisively in this matter will leave us with no choice but to pursue legal action, including filing a writ of mandamus with the federal court, in order to compel the appropriate response.

I urge you to prioritize this case and ensure that justice is served for Adrian Duerson and his grieving family. Your commitment to upholding the law and seeking justice in this case is of paramount importance to the community.
