Today’s virtual geometry lesson is proof that students can see it, interact with it, ask questions, and learn just as effectively online.

I know “Will virtual tutoring really work for my child?” is a common hesitation. The answer? With the right tools and an intentional lesson design, absolutely. 📐💻

The summer math program was more than just fun! Its also a great way to prevent a summer slide between grade levels. As exampled here, one summer program student received their test scores, showing that their summer activities paid off!

Sometimes lessons look different. Students may need time to acclimate to a school session, require brain breaks, or take a bathroom break (a brief escape). We don't just teach academics. Providing students with opportunities to learn regulation techniques and develop improved social emotional wellbeing is just as important. Supernova Learning Experience is here to provide a calm, steady, and reassuring hand through the session, every time.

For some its the week school begins, and for many more we are just 1 week away from the first day of school. Today is a lighter scheduling day as everyone prepares so I have the opportunity to work on a blanket, have a snack, and listen to my audiobook.

Students often find it difficult to translate language and context clues into algebraic terms. Color coding the language to its translated meaning is one helpful way to build this skill.

Moments like this help define my "why." It means a great deal to me to be a part of a student's growth not only academically but also socially emotionally.
