Photo Caption: “This photo was taken during the festive season in 1999.
As it was our family yearly tradition we visited the catholic parish in our community, bearing gifts, dining and singing carols to celebrate with the priests . My Dad says they are far from home so we did our best to bring home to them.
It was always so beautiful and heartwarming as they looked forward to our yearly visits.”

Photo Caption: "This is a photo of me, my older sister, and my maternal grandmother. It was taken during Christmas time some-time between 1996 and 1998...This was a very special time for us. We'd eat gumbo and go to mass on Christmas Eve, and open gifts with family on Christmas Day. We celebrated Kwanzaa a few times growing up too."
