Last year, we were reminded that even broken crayons can still color. This year, we gathered as people who are mended.. healed in some places, still healing in others, and held through it all.
While no one can see it, I’ve been extremely, extremely hard on myself lately and today was a beautiful reminder that healing is a journey, and God can bring color back to the places we thought were lost. I’m leaving with a grateful heart, renewed hope, and a deeper appreciation for how far I’ve come.
We never want to go back to past or let it define us, but to me it’s important to keep it there so on those hard days, those days you don’t know if you do it anymore, the days you take those deep breaths and tell yourself you got this, those days you don’t know how much more you can take.. you can reach into that memory pocket and know you can take that step forward.
Forever a work in progress over here still healing, still growing, still becoming. But I’m not the woman I used to be and I’m grateful for every step that has brought me here.
Thank you Salt Church International for this beautiful sanctuary and to all the speakers who touched our lives. My second conference in the books ♥️
