🌟 A Week Full of Learning, Discovery & Fun at Angel Face Preschool! 🌟

What a wonderful week we've had at Angel Face Preschool! This month we are learning about Transportation. Our students stayed busy exploring, creating, learning, and growing through hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.

📚 We gathered together for engaging story times, strengthening our listening skills, vocabulary, and love of books. Our kiddos enjoyed sensory-rich activities, art projects, circle time, and plenty of opportunities to practice independence during meals and classroom routines.

🎹 During Music & Piano, students learned about whole notes and quarter notes, practiced finger placement, and explored rhythm and melody through hands-on piano lessons.

✈️ In Language & Culture, our students learned transportation vocabulary in Japanese and even created their own paper airplanes using origami paper, combining language learning with creativity and fine motor development. 🐉 We also explored Chinese culture as we learned about the Dragon Boat Festival and its traditions.

🥗 Or fine dining guests enjoyed fresh, nutritious foods prepared in-house and were excited to try healthy fruits and vegetables while practicing self-help skills at mealtime.

💃 We wrapped up our week with Music & Movement, where students danced, exercised, and had fun while building coordination and gross motor skills.

🕵️‍♂️🔍 CSI Visit at Angel Face Preschool at Cadence! 🔍🕵️‍♀️

Today was full of excitement as we welcomed members of the CSI team to Angel Face Preschool at Cadence! Our students had the opportunity to learn about the important work Crime Scene Investigators do to help keep our community safe.

The highlight of the visit was having our fingerprints taken and seeing firsthand how investigators use fingerprints as clues to solve cases. The children were fascinated, they got to sit in the CSI truck, asked questions, and loved finding clues.

At Angel Face Preschool, we love creating hands-on learning experiences that connect our students to real-world professions and community helpers. Thank you to our CSI guests for sharing your time, knowledge, and passion with our students. You made learning fun and memorable!

Celebrating Our Community Helpers at Angel Face Preschool at Blue Diamond!

During the month of May, our students at Angel Face Preschool Blue Diamond celebrated Community Helpers Month by learning about the many people who work hard every day to keep our community safe, healthy, and thriving.

We were incredibly fortunate to welcome parents and community partners who took time out of their busy schedules to share their careers and teach our children about the important roles they play in our community. Our students had the opportunity to meet and learn from:

From exploring emergency vehicles and learning about public safety to discovering how healthcare professionals care for others, learning fun hands-on STEM activities, and how martial arts instructors promote discipline and confidence, our students were engaged, curious, and excited every step of the way.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our families and community partners who helped make this month so meaningful. Your willingness to share your knowledge and experiences helps our children better understand the world around them while inspiring them to dream about what they may become one day.

Together, we are building strong connections between our school and community, one future community helper at a time!

National Kids Fitness Day sheds light on an important consideration for playground developers and operators: the role of safe, reliable outdoor environments that support the active lifestyles of Southern Nevada kids.
