As a journalism major, she’s already taking exciting steps toward the career she’s been working so hard for.

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, reflect on the history that made progress possible, and continue building spaces where everyone feels seen, respected, and supported.

At UNLV, we’re surrounded by people with different identities, experiences, and stories. As college students, we all have the chance to make our campus more welcoming, whether that’s by sharing our own experiences or showing up as allies for others.

In Alpha Delta Pi, “Live for Each Other” means creating a sisterhood where every member feels like they belong. This month, we’re honored to share what Pride means to some of our sisters and celebrate the voices that make our chapter stronger.

Our chapter had the honor of sending three sisters to the 175th Alpha Delta Pi Grand Convention!

From meeting members of the Grand Council to connecting with sisters from chapters around the world, this experience was a powerful reminder of the lifelong bonds that make our sisterhood so special. It was an incredible privilege to learn from the women who help guide our organization and to take part in conversations that will help shape the future of Alpha Delta Pi.

Celebrating 175 years of Alpha Delta Pi also gave us the opportunity to reflect on the women whose vision and determination helped create greater opportunities for women in higher education, leadership, and the workforce. Their legacy continues to inspire us as we carry our values forward and strengthen our sisterhood for generations to come.
