September is National Hazing Prevention Month.

Sisterhood should never come at the cost of someone’s comfort, safety, or well-being. At Alpha Delta Pi, we believe the strongest sisterhoods are built through genuine connection, mutual respect, and making sure every sister knows she has a place here.

Hazing is never a requirement for belonging. This month, we’re reminded of the importance of speaking up, looking out for each other, and creating an environment where our sisters can feel supported and valued🤍

A little glimpse into a day we’ll always remember🤍✨

Sisterhood is more than the big moments. It’s the conversations that continue long after recruitment ends, the inside jokes that come out of nowhere, the traditions we look forward to every year, and the friendships that become a constant through every season of life.

This weekend gave us the chance to share the heart of Alpha Delta Pi and, more importantly, get to know the women who could become part of it. We’re so grateful for every conversation, every laugh, and every moment we shared with you.

Thank you for spending the weekend with us and allowing us to show you a little piece of our ADPi. We hope you walked away with memories you’ll look back on just as fondly as we will. 🤍💎

As you step into recruitment weekend, we hope you are excited to find your way home! Remember to take in each moment, enjoy every conversation, and treasure all of the connections you make along the way.

Recruitment is so much more than just joining a sorority. It is about finding the people who make you feel seen, supported, and completely yourself. We have had the privilege of seeing firsthand how special it is to have a sisterhood that celebrates you, challenges you to grow, and stands beside you through every season of life.

Our biggest piece of advice is to show up each day with an open mind and to be yourself no matter what! Trust the process, and you will find the sisters who make you feel most at home.

ADPi Why from sister Fatima 🩷✨

“My ADPi why is the immense love and confidence my sisters have brought to my life. Before joining ADPi, I felt like I didn’t have much of a place at UNLV. I simply went to class and work, and would rarely see my friends due to us having different schedules and responsibilities. At some point it became hard to feel motivated to go to school because I felt like I didn’t have much to look forward to. I knew I needed to find a way to stay involved in school before it was too late. One of my best friends encouraged me to join a sorority, and thanks to her I met some of the kindest and most genuine women ever. Although I didn’t go through official recruitment and only spoke with them a handful of times they left a long lasting impression on me. I was beyond grateful when I was offered a spot in ADPi, because for the first time in a long time I felt like I truly belonged somewhere. My sisters have helped me see a light I felt was dimmed, and have become the family I was missing for so long. ADPi thank you for reminding me that love truly is all around us.🩵OBIC”
