Last week, Dr. Demopoulos, Melissa Lezama, RDH, and DS1 students Leila Mirsafian and Daniel Buchholz traveled to Head Start centers in Elko and Ely for the Early Childhood Caries Prevention Project—providing screenings, fluoride, and oral health education for children ages 0–5.
In just a few days: 159 children screened, 127 received fluoride, and hundreds of miles traveled to bring care directly to the communities we serve. 💫
