The purpose of this study is to examine how people perceive the increase in women participating in agricultural activities. If you are asked to participate in this study, you must meet the following criteria: agricultural community member, ages 18 and older, residing in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Mew Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming. If you volunteer to participate in this study, you will be asked to talk openly, to your comfort, about your experiences and feelings via Facebook Messenger or text message. Additionally, we will screenshot your PUBLIC Facebook posts. The study will take about 15 minutes to 2 hours of your time, depending on how long you would like to talk. You are encouraged to ask questions about this study at the beginning or any time during the research study.

Good day!
We would like to invite you to participate in a University of Nevada, Las Vegas research study. The purpose of this study is to examine how people perceive gender in agricultural activities. You are being asked to participate in this study because you are an adult aged 18 or old residing in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming with involvement in agricultural activities.
If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to talk openly, to your comfort, about your experiences and feelings. These discussions will take place via Facebook Messenger or text message and will be transcribed. Additionally, your public Facebook posts, including images and text, will be recorded via screenshots. Your posts and messages will be coded to protect your confidentiality and we will remove all identifying information.
The amount of time you spend participating is completely up to you and we estimate that it will range from anywhere between 15 minutes and 2 hours, depending on how much information you would like to share.
