Small wins turn into big growth. ✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From the Beginning of Year (BOY) to Middle of Year (MOY) assessments, this student made some amazing progress with consistent weekly tutoring, targeted lessons, and ongoing progress monitoring.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📚 ELA: 513 ➝ 568
➕ +55 point growth
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➗ Math: 387 ➝ 417
➕ +30 point growth
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Growth like this happens through patience, confidence building, and showing up week after week. I’m so proud of the hard work she’s putting in.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now we keep going. 💫
Our focus for the rest of the year is continuing this momentum so she meets (and hopefully exceeds) her End of Year goals.

Quick peek at my tutoring website 🤍

I broke everything down so parents can understand what I offer, what virtual sessions look like, how I support different learning styles, and the programs I’ve created with real kids (and real schedules) in mind.

If you’ve been wondering whether virtual tutoring could work for your child, this is a good place to start.

Learning isn’t just academic—it’s emotional too.
When we support the brain AND the feelings, confidence grows. 💛.

Hey Parents,
If your child is struggling this year, don’t wait for the “next grade to fix it.”
Skills build on each other—they don’t reset.
Early support leads to confident learners.

I’ve had so many new faces join my little corner of the digital universe, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Ms. Bee—virtual educator, homeschool mama, and neurodiversity advocate. I started my virtual tutoring business in the fall of 2020 to help friends and families navigate e-learning. Fast forward five years, and I’ve created a virtual learning hub that supports all learning styles, helps students grow academically, gives parents practical tips and support, and takes a mindful approach to building confidence while reducing learning anxiety.

What’s one learning goal you have for your child this semester? Drop it in the comments 🌿

Last month, I celebrated five years of running my tutoring business, and it still feels surreal.

In April 2020, while teaching my fourth graders online, helping my daughter Bri with her kindergarten e-learning, and being 6½ months pregnant, I saw many families overwhelmed by e-learning. To help during such a chaotic time, I decided to offer free tutoring sessions to any elementary student in need of support.

A few months later, after successfully navigating e-learning as a teacher, I stepped away from the classroom to stay home with my kids. That September, I sat down with a notebook and mapped the beginning stages of my virtual tutoring business.

Five years later, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help students grow, close learning gaps, build confidence, and provide parents with the support they need. What began in uncertainty has turned into one of the most rewarding chapters of my life.

Happy First Day of Fall🍁
Fall books are some of my favorite ways to sneak in learning without it feeling like “school.” 🍂
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These three stories are perfect for building early reading skills, such as vocabulary, sequencing, and recognizing beginning sounds, all while you’re curled up on the couch or winding down at bedtime.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The best part is that you don’t have to buy them! 📚 You can check them out at your local library or even find a read-aloud on YouTube.

We’ve reached the final part of our Early Literacy Series!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Segmenting involves breaking words down into their individual sounds. While it may seem minor, it plays a crucial role in helping children become confident readers and writers. When kids learn to identify the sounds in words, they build a strong foundation for spelling, blending, and eventually reading with ease.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The best part? You don’t need fancy tools or large amounts of time—these skills can be developed right at home through playful, everyday activities. We’ve shared some simple and fun ways to get started in today’s slides.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We (Mrs. Bee and Guerlandy ) are incredibly grateful to walk alongside families on this journey. Thank you for allowing us to share what we love most: supporting YOU, spreading knowledge, and building strong readers together! 🤗

It’s the start of a brand-new school year, and one of the most powerful gifts we can give our Pre-K–3rd grade learners is a strong early literacy foundation. These foundational skills are essential for developing confident readers, spellers, and writers.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In Part 2 of our 3-part series, and will explore the concept of blending in phonics—what it means, why it is important, and how you can support your child at home. We’ll also share simple, fun enrichment activities designed to strengthen your learner’s blending skills.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Are you ready to start practicing right away?
Comment “Blend” and we’ll send you a PDF list of CVC words you can use with your child to build reading confidence through practice.
