"A Moment."

It is with a heavy heart that I have to report the passing of Camille Duskin. She unexpectedly passed yesterday after after having a medical procedure.

She once said, “Don’t send me flowers when I’m gone, send me flowers now.” And that is how she lived her life. Enjoying the moment and supporting others...even at her own cost.

She gave special angel pins to those who supported her charity, The Gateway Arts Foundation. She called those Gateway supporters, “Angels of the arts.” What we didn’t realize, we were being given an angel just by having that amazing, selfless woman in our lives. Music. Art. Dance. The arts were her passion and she wanted to give back. She succeeded. Not only with her love and charity, but by being in our lives and reminding us that there ARE good people out there in the world. She raised the bar.

Please allow her husband, Jerry Duskin, the space and time he needs to grasp his loss.

There will be a Celebration of Life for our dear, sweet Camille when it is safe for all of us to get together. If you’re have any questions, please call Michele Bruce or text her at: (702) 334-2869.

Deeply Devastated,
Rictor Riolo

Dear Gateway supporters, students, professionals and friends in the arts,

Due to the current situation affecting all of us, Gateway is delaying the application process for our fine scholarship program. When it is safe for us to properly hold auditions and concerts, you will be notified to submit applications. We are looking forward to that time and encourage you to check for notices from Gateway and to visit our website. www.gatewayartsfoundation.org

Our most sincere wishes for you and those you love to enjoy good health.
