The objective is to create a diversified community-based teaching and learning tool “for students, by students, and open to all students.”

Outlook University Independent School Network offers a “Free readiness Course” for English Language Arts. The Outlook University Parts-of-Speech Course is designed for students entering eighth grade in Fall 2025. However, any student who is willing and motivated to complete and/or compete in the Parts-of-Speech Video Challenge is welcome.
Students lose a significant amount of knowledge during the summer months, and teachers have the task of helping them catch up and teaching to the state grade-level standard. Many times, students in Title I environments may be delayed considerably because of their previous educational opportunities to excel; these students may or may not be labeled with a Specific Learning Disability. There may be students functioning at or above state grade-level standards who are not being challenged to excel. This free course is for any students needing acceleration and challenge.
