We are hosting an upcoming Breast Cancer Screening/Mammogram Focus Group to learn more about the experiences of women who have used Turquoise Care, formerly Centennial Care.

💬 Participants will receive a $50 gift card for participating, and snacks and drinks will be provided!

Participant requirements:
• Women ages 35–74
• Live in the local county/area
• Presbyterian Health Plan members are eligible, but membership is not required
• Have lived experience with Turquoise Care/Medicaid, currently or formerly (not required but preferred).

⭐️Had a child in the last two years
⭐️ Are Presbyterian Health Plan members (but this is not required to participate)

Participants will receive a $50 gift card for participating! (One gift card per household)

Snacks, drinks and childcare will be provided!

Last week, we assisted with the 2025 SE Health Careers Academy (HCA) in Hobbs, NM, this summer in partnership with the New Mexico Jr. College and the University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. We had a great but busy summer with SoAHEC!

We helped coordinate the Hobbs Health Career Summer Academy where 15 students were chosen to participate in this Academy for two weeks. They learned from other health professionals and also were able to do community service.

We attended the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Houston where we judged middle school and high school students from all over the world, competing in several events.
