What a phenomenal turnout for Trivia Night! Six epic teams battled it out in a fierce clash of brains, wit, and strategy. The star-studded lineup featured:
Jane Errors
Team Steve
Le Pitié
Quiztina Aguilera
Swamp Things
Southwestern Geese
It all came down to a nail-biting finish! A dramatic final question and some high-stakes wagering completely shook up the leaderboard, crowning our champions in spectacular fashion:
🥇 1st Place: Team Steve (The reigning champions!)
🥈 2nd Place: Swamp Things (An incredible debut for these first-timers!)
🥉 3rd Place: Southwestern Geese (Snagging a spot on the podium!)
The best part of the night? In a beautiful display of community spirit, every single winning team donated their prize money right back to the cause! Heartfelt thanks to The Game I for being such fantastic hosts. Huge shoutouts go to Dr. Wendi and Thomas Ambrose for crafting the mind-melting questions and keeping the energy alive as our emcees, and to Tammy for her incredible help behind the scenes!

The LCPS Foundation has been busy!! 🎉❤️. Thank you to our donors and board member who participated in this past weekend’s Testimonial Event. A very special Thank you goes out to the Tombaugh Art Gallery for allowing us to use their space and to Adrian Chacon Tirre, Centennial Graduate and current NMSU student, for working your media magic!!

This great program is organized by the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce and designed specifically for high school juniors! Students are invited to go beyond the classroom through nine all-day sessions featuring field trips, community experiences and opportunities to meet local leaders in government, education, healthcare, the arts, nonprofits and the military.
Participants will build confidence, strengthen communication and public-speaking skills, and learn what it takes to lead. Junior Leadership is a highly engaging opportunity for students, and spots are limited.
