Happy National Coaches Day to the one and only Jocelyn! From lighting up the stage as a Sundancer herself to guiding and inspiring our team, you’ve made an incredible impact on this organization.

Not only are you an amazing, dedicated coach who always pushes us to be our best inside and outside of dance & getting us on the nationals floor, but you’re also a loving mother who leads with so much care and grace. Thank you for every early & late practice, every word of encouragement, and for being the heartbeat of our program. We love and appreciate you more than words can say! ✨👏

With auditions coming up we’d like to share a few words from 3rd year Sundancer Sofia!

Becoming a Sundancer has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. It has given me some of my favorite memories and friendships that I know will stay with me forever. Whether it’s stepping onto the field at football games or performing on the court at basketball games, there’s a powerful sense of pride and belonging that comes with representing NMSU. My team and coach have pushed me in ways I didn’t expect, taught me discipline, resilience, and that hard work truly pays off. But more than anything, this team has given me a group of people who became more than just teammates. The moments we’ve shared, both on and off the floor, are ones I’ll always hold close. 🫶🏽

If you’re even thinking about trying out, take the chance. It could end up being one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of your college career. Good luck!
