Turns out being Dean might be the easy part. 🕺

After a little practice, Dean Marlatt officially took the floor with the NMSU Pride of New Mexico Ballet Folklórico team for his first full performance!

A huge thank you to the dancers for teaching him, cheering him on and letting us step into the tradition, culture and energy behind Ballet Folklórico.

Safe to say… the Dean did it. 🤠

Dean Marlatt traded the office for the dance floor and learned a few moves from the NMSU Pride of New Mexico Ballet Folklórico team!

After serving as Interim Director, Dr. Lucero is officially stepping into the role and continuing her leadership within TPAL and the College of HEST.

When La Academia Dolores Huerta needed a space to teach their students, the NMSU College of HEST was proud to open the doors of O’Donnell Hall and provide a place for their students to learn and grow.

This partnership was a wonderful example of HEST’s commitment to giving back to our community and supporting students of all ages. We’re grateful to share our spaces, build connections and help create opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.
