Please fill out the survey if you care about tuition waivers and health insurance coverage!
This survey is being circulated among the various graduate student organizations in order to submit a “formal proposal to demand that tuition be covered and our health insurance to be partially subsidized by the university”. It asks various information about your personal bills and how that compares to your graduate compensation. Most universities waive tuition if you are a GA, so we should too! The more that fill this out, the more powerful it will be.

PFLAG announces an amazing, FREE event that will be taking place on campus. The event will be a showing of “Raising Zoey”, a documentary about a transgender teen on a journey to find her voice—as a daughter, sister, student, and activities. The event will take place on Saturday, February 2nd from 6pm-8pm at NMSU Domenici Hall.

Indian festival of lights will be celebrated on 11/17/2018, 5.00PM on-wards at the auditorium, Corbett Center Student Union, Second Floor. There are cultural programs (Dance and fashion show) followed with Indian buffet dinner which would be free. This event also includes fireworks. Join the event and make it a great success.

The election for the Vice-President of the graduate student council will be held on 29 October 2018 at O'donnell Hall at the GSC general meeting (4.45PM). Eligible graduate students can nominate themself for this open position till Monday (10/29/2018) 4.45PM.
