I am a certified teacher for grades K-8, and have specializations in Language Arts and Science. What I offer your student is a one on one setting for those who are either struggling or excelling. I help students attain grade level reading and mathematics scores through a variety of activities. Reading inventories and other formative testing measures are just a sample of the tools with which I have
experience. I have assisted students with dyslexia, auditory disabilities, low IQ, and high IQ. Also, I am fully exposed to all areas of Special Education and have worked with students at all ends of the spectrum. Students do not need to be trailing their peers to benefit from this specialized instruction. Accelerated reading or additional drilling in mathematics can only serve to put your student in a better position and prepare them for what lies ahead. Personal, one on one instruction is proven to be the most successful environment to address difficult learning issues quickly. However, I am also extremely excited about doing small classes with 8-10 students. When doing a class setting students still benefit greatly and get one on one attention.
