Help us congratulate Mrs. Deanna Geckler on being selected to represent the Western Region as Regional Legislative Director for the American Association of Christian Schools.

NMACS Schools:

We are happy to announce that Mrs. Deanna Geckler, Administrator at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Las Cruces, has been chosen to fill one of the Regional Legislative Directors for the Western Region of the AACS. Our Western Region includes the including and west of New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana). The AACS typically has two RLD positions per region, but there has not been a RLD serving our Western Region for quite a few years. We appreciate Deanna’s willingness to fill one of these roles.

Mrs. Geckler will represent the Western Region at both the annual AACS Fall Legislative Conference in DC as well as the Spring Conference typically held in Atlanta.

Congratulations, Deanna! And thank you for being willing to serve in this role.

Cornerstone Christian Academy was awarded a scholarship from the American Association of Christian Schools for two of our upper class girls to travel to Washington, D.C. CCA is the first school in the state of New Mexico to be awarded this scholarship.

Our High School Biology class had had a wonderful time with dissections through the year. We had many great experiences. The Kindergarten class was even able to sit in on our Starfish dissection.
