Aggie Cupboard at NMSU

The Aggie Cupboard is a food pantry for the NMSU community that provides free non-perishable food. We endeavor to continue that work through our efforts.

Food provided typically includes staples such as protein, vegetables, soups, beans, rice, pasta and sauce. We make referrals to other community food resources as needed. We envision a campus community free from hunger and fully able to be successful at NMSU. We desire to see students completely able to pursue academic success free from the worry of hunger. We believe that the NMSU community and t

he larger Las Cruces community already possesses the resources and generosity necessary to support each other in times of need, and seek to mobilize that potential. We recognize that New Mexico ranks high among the states with the most food insecurity, among children and the general population, and that the demographics of our NMSU community reflect those of New Mexico in many ways. As the state’s land grant institution, NMSU has a proud history of making higher education accessible to the working class.

Last week, our community came together to provide Thanksgiving supplies to more than 250 individuals. We are truly grateful for our amazing volunteers, community partners, and colleagues who made this possible. Your presence made all the difference. 🧡🍂

Howdy, Aggies! Please be aware that the Aggie Cupboard Main Office (906 Agriculture Way & Sweet Ave) and the Pete's Pop-Up Pantry (Corbett Center Student Union) will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 26, Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28 following the Fall Holiday.

We will resume regular office hours on Monday, December 1 and normal distribution hours during that week.

Together, we can support our Aggies. ❤️ The Aggie Emergency fund provides financial assistance for students facing sudden hardships — from housing and medical needs to emergency repairs.

If you or you know a student who’s can benefit from this fund connect them with Student Assistance Services for guidance and support.

Requests are reviewed within 24–48 hours, and eligible students may receive up to $500 in assistance.
