NM EPSCoR is excited to launch its Certificate Training in Entrepreneurship in partnership with the University of New Mexico (UNM) Rainforest Innovations and Innovation Academy. The goals of the Certificate program are to introduce participants to intellectual property (IP) generation and management, commercialization, and entrepreneurship, and to highlight additional resources and training opportunities at New Mexico’s research universities.

The online, self-paced curriculum is designed for all researchers interested in IP and innovation--faculty, postdoctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students--and consists of seven lectures and associated assessments.

The Interstellar Probe Study Team is holding their virtual Fall Workshop on November 16-20 and students are welcome to attend! The event will be held remotely via Zoom, and abstracts related to a pragmatic interstellar probe mission are being accepted through October 23. Sessions specifically for students and early career scientists and engineers are being held on the first and last days.

If you would like to attend, register to participate. Registration is now open on the website (link below).
In addition, submit your abstracts. IPS Team is looking for everyone to share their ideas that further the workshop’s goal, namely, gathering together and discussing the objectives, design, and operations for a near-term, pragmatic interstellar probe mission. Please follow the instructions on the event page to submit your abstract.
