Thanks To Our Funders
New Mexico State University is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer and educator. Department of Agriculture are cooperating. Thanks To Our Funders! New Mexico EFNEP provides nutrition education to low-income families, funded by the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program grant. All EFNEP education occurs in series, meaning a community of clients attend classes together multiple times and are able to graduate with greater self-sufficiency, well-being, and nutritional health. The EFNEP community outreach program operates out of the 1862 and 1890 Land-grant Universities (LGUs) in every state, the District of Columbia, and the six U.S. territories – American Samoa, Guam, Micronesia, Northern Marianas, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences is an engine for economic and community development in New Mexico. ACES academic programs help students discover new knowledge and become leaders in environmental stewardship, food and fiber production, water use and conservation, and improving the health of all New Mexicans. The College's research and Extension outreach arms reach every county in the state and provide research-based knowledge and programs to improve the lives of all New Mexicans.
