The NSF HSI program has announced new solicitation, “Hispanic-Serving Institutions: Enriching Learning, Programs, and Student Experiences (HSI:ELPSE)” (NSF 24-551). The tracks in the new solicitation are summarized below and the full text can be found at:

https://new.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/hispanic-serving-institutions-enriching-learning/nsf24-551/solicitation

We are excited to announce that the program will be accepting proposals to the new educational instrumentation track this year, with a deadline of June 4, 2024.

Office Hours: The program will be announcing webinars and office hours in the coming weeks to introduce our community to the solicitation and answer questions about HSI:ELPSE.

Status of Solicitation 22-611: As noted in the ELPSE solicitation, the HSI program anticipates releasing a separate solicitation in Summer 2024 that will offer additional opportunities aligned with the program goals. HSI:ELPSE and this forthcoming solicitation will replace NSF 22-611 (Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Hispanic-Serving Institutions). As such, NSF 22-611’s status has been updated to “waiting for new publication”, and we do not anticipate future deadlines for that opportunity.
