NMSU Student Assistance Services Student Assistance Services (SAS) supports NMSU students facing academic, personal, financial, or basic needs challenges.

SAS also houses the Aggie Cupboard, the on-campus food pantry providing free groceries to students, staff, and faculty. Student Assistance Services (SAS) is the central support office at New Mexico State University, providing direct assistance to students experiencing academic, personal, financial, or basic needs challenges that may impact their success. SAS is also home to the Aggie Cupboard, NMS

U’s official on-campus food pantry, offering free groceries to students, staff, and faculty facing food insecurity. We help students navigate complex situations, connect with resources, and stay enrolled through individualized support, emergency funding guidance, extended absence coordination, and more.

Howdy, Aggies! Please be aware that the Aggie Cupboard Main Office (906 Agriculture Way & Sweet Ave) and the Pete's Pop-Up Pantry (Corbett Center Student Union) will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 26, Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28 following the Fall Holiday.

We will resume regular office hours on Monday, December 1 and normal distribution hours during that week.

Together, we can support our Aggies. ❤️ The Aggie Emergency fund provides financial assistance for students facing sudden hardships — from housing and medical needs to emergency repairs.

If you or you know a student who’s can benefit from this fund connect them with Student Assistance Services for guidance and support.

Requests are reviewed within 24–48 hours, and eligible students may receive up to $500 in assistance.

• A box or rolling cart (able to carry up to 50 lbs of food)

🚨 Don't forget! Pete's Pantry in the Park will be next Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 12 pm - 1 pm.

- Where: Southwest corner of Preciado Park
- What you'll need: Bring an active NMSU ID and a cart/rolling suitcase or box to carry 50 pounds of perishable and non-perishable food.
