Jack Walden is one of our Blue Dragon Dojo Black Belts, and today we celebrate his journey as he steps into a new chapter.

When COVID hit, Jack stuck it out. Even through the toughest times—missing the energy of training side-by-side with his martial arts brothers and sisters mentoring the kids class—he kept showing up, putting in the work. Anyone who was there to witness his journey saw his indomitable spirit in action as he earned his Black Belt.

After years of guidance under myself, Sensei Jennifer Gonzales, my family, and the Blue Dragon Dojo family, Jack is moving on to pursue new opportunities. He has promised to keep training and carry the lessons he learned here with him wherever he goes.

Jack, you have been an outstanding student and an exceptional Black Belt. You will be truly missed. We wish you the absolute best on this next leg of your journey, and remember: the doors of Blue Dragon Dojo will always be open to you.
