Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19 is the first day of school! Welcome back to our Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores and a warm welcome to our Freshmen! It’s that time of year again! Redwood is (almost) back and so are we! Please save the dates for all the fun Fall activity happening at school.

PTSA Transfer Parent Welcome Coffee on 8/18 at 9am in the Quad. It’s a great chance for transfer parents to connect and ask questions to experienced Redwood parents and students.

PTSA and Foundation Welcome Coffee on 8/21 at 9:15am in the Library. It’s a great opportunity to meet other parents and hear updates about the upcoming school year from our new principal, Lisa Kemp. PTSA and Foundation board members will be there to answer any questions that you might have about these organizations. We are excited to welcome you and hope you can come by for a cup of coffee!

RHS Back to School Night on 9/10 on Campus. More details coming soon!

PTSA’s Redwood 101 on 9/18 at 9am in the Kreps Conference Room. For all new, transfer and returning family members, this PTSA meeting is always a favorite as Principal Payne introduces staff and administrators who identify their roles and resources that will help you support your student. Departments presenting will include Administration, Athletics, Arts, Attendance, Counseling, College & Career Center, and more. Get current Redwood info, learn what your student may anticipate for the year, and who to contact for more information. More details coming soon.

On Tuesday, June 9th, our GIANT community will come together to celebrate and thank the incredible Redwood staff for all they do throughout the year.

Now that Grad Night registration registrations are rolling in, we need volunteers. But preferably volunteers with students that are either freshmen, sophomores, or juniors. Why? Because senior parents are going to be busy celebrating their grads. And we want to pay it forward so that younger parents are there for our students when they are seniors so that they (and we) can have the same special grad night experience! Grad Night 2026 Registration HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR A FEW DAYS! Now due on Thursday, May 21 before midnight!

Redwood High School Safe & Sober Grad Night 2026 will be held on Thursday, June 11 - the evening of Graduation. Since 1988, Grad Night’s mission has always been the same: Bring our kids together to celebrate as a class one last time in a fun and safe environment.

Grad Night is an event for ALL Redwood High School seniors, only seniors, and only Redwood seniors. The location will be announced shortly!

STEP 1: REGISTER
We are using DocuSign to help us with the registration process and for students and parents to complete our Waiver and Release and Code of Conduct Forms. These documents need to be signed by the student planning to attend Grad Night and their  parent or guardian. 

IMPORTANT: Students must initiate the registration process. Students will be asked to enter the name and email of their parent or guardian. Once the student completes the form, the forms will automatically be routed from to the parent or guardian by DocuSign to complete the packet. 

Please note that DocuSign may send you an access code to begin the signing process. Check your email for the access code and enter it when prompted. 

STEP 2: CONTRIBUTE
Make your $150 payment! Your payment helps to cover the cost of safely transporting our seniors to and from the event, fun activities, and food! 

STEP 3: VOLUNTEER
It takes a village! We need volunteers to make this event happen and appreciate families’ continued participation and support.
