Larimore High School Trap Team

Our 2026 season came to an end on saturday at the ND HS Trap Shooting Tournament in Horace. We had 22 of our 30 students attend the shoot, and even came home with a placing!

Paytin McMahon placed 2nd in Novice, shooting 71/100.

Other Top 10 notables:
Caleb Turner shooting his highest round ever (24) placing 9th (Novice) with an overall score of 75.
Brooklyn Stromberg placing 7th (Novice) and Tenly Behm placing 8th (Novice).

Our only senior this year, Mason Steffen was "oh so close" to the 25 straight, missing it by just 1 bird, but ended taking home the Top Gun award, shooting the highest round at state with 89/100.

Josiah Olson also shot his highest round ever, 25 straight!

The coaching staff would like to thank all of the students, parents, school & city officials and our sponsors for all of the support given to our club. We wouldn't be here without each and every one of you!

Cant wait to see everyone back again next season!

Mother nature wins again. Trap is canceled for today. We will only be open Monday & Tuesday this week.

STATE TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY MAY 4Th AT 12PM. An email registration link has been sent to all students. Don't forget to register!
We shoot on Saturday, June 20th. Times and field assignments will be announced at a later date.

We will be open for LEAGUE WEEK 2 tonight and adding TUESDAY as an additional day this week, since the weather sounds better than today.

Monday- 4 to close
Tuesday- 4 to close (additonal day)
Thursday- 4 to close

Reminder, we do not stay at the range all night so if you plan to shoot later in the evening, get a hold of a coach so they stick around for you.
