Bringing a little extra sunshine to June by recognizing this month's In the Spotlight honorees! ☀️

❤️Asha is the day Massage Therapy Educator at the Bradenton campus and brings nearly a decade of industry experience to the classroom. She is licensed as both a Massage Therapist and Full Specialist and also holds an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Since joining the AIB family in January, Asha has shared her passion for wellness, education, and helping others achieve their goals.

What Asha loves most about the beauty and wellness industry is the impact it has on people's lives. To her, the work goes far beyond providing services; it's about transformation, building confidence, and creating meaningful connections with clients. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to helping others feel their best, both physically and emotionally.

Asha's professional accomplishments are as impressive as they are diverse. Before transitioning into education, Asha spent eight years as a lash artist, building a career that included features in two international magazines, Creators Mag and Beauty Mute, and opportunities to work with models and high-profile clientele; experiences that showcase the level of dedication she now brings to her future professionals at AIB. She is also a Reiki Master Practitioner, allowing her to bring an additional layer of mindfulness and holistic wellness to her approach.

As an educator, Asha finds tremendous fulfillment in teaching and inspiring future professionals. She enjoys watching her future professionals invest in themselves, develop their skills, and grow into confident practitioners. Her passion for education stems from her desire to help others recognize their potential and pursue meaningful careers in the beauty and wellness industry.

When she's not in the classroom, Asha enjoys getting lost in a good book, exploring the outdoors, hiking, and spending quality time with her children, grandson, and husband. She also considers herself a proud foodie who loves experiencing flavors and cuisines from different cultures.

One phrase Asha lives by is: “Protect your peace, your passion, and do all things with good intentions.”

❤️Francesca (Fran) is the Night Advanced Esthetics Educator at the Largo campus and has been part of the AIB team for almost four years! She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management and Administration and a Cosmetology license. With over 15 years in the beauty industry, and a lifetime spent around it thanks to her family’s salon roots, Francesca brings both passion and experience to the classroom every day.

To Francesca, the most rewarding part of being an educator is helping future professionals discover what is possible for their future. She loves watching her future professionals grow, gain confidence, and achieve success while encouraging them to let their inner light shine bright!

When it comes to esthetics, Francesca is especially passionate about the science behind skin care. She enjoys helping others identify the root causes of skin concerns and creating personalized plans that help them look and feel their best. She believes the beauty industry should always be inclusive because skin care is for everyone!

Francesca has an extensive background in esthetics and makeup, with certifications in Dermalogica, Skin Script, and Image. She has also received makeup training from brands such as Benefit Cosmetics, Smashbox, Too Faced, and Pür. In addition, she is the proud owner of Plump Esthetics, a facial studio specializing in clinical Korean skincare and dedicated to creating an inclusive self-care experience for all.

Outside of the classroom, Francesca enjoys collecting trinkets, playing cozy video games, listening to elder emo music, and embracing her self-proclaimed title as a world champion nap taker. She is also a proud pet parent to her deaf white cat, Amelia Mignonette Renaldi Thermopolous Crocitto, better known as the lovely Princess Mia, who has been featured in two pet calendars and a pet coloring book! She’s the cutest!!

One phrase Francesca lives by is: “Confidence. It's the food of the wise man and the liquor of the fool.”

❤️Paulina is the Night Skin Care Educator at the St. Pete campus and has been part of the AIB family for a year and a half. With over 16 years of experience in the beauty industry, she loves having the opportunity to share her knowledge and passion with future professionals while helping change lives through education.

When it comes to the beauty industry, Paulina loves helping others feel confident in their own skin. She is passionate about teaching future professionals how skin care can positively impact not only a person's appearance, but also their confidence and overall quality of life. Throughout her career, she has gained certifications in dermaplaning, microneedling, as well as lash lifts and tints.

As an educator, Paulina enjoys inspiring future professionals to pursue their goals and discover the difference they can make in the lives of others through their work. Her passion for teaching is rooted in her belief that education has the power to transform lives, one client and one student at a time.

Outside of the classroom, Paulina enjoys biking and is always ready for her next adventure. Her positive outlook on life and willingness to embrace new experiences make her a wonderful mentor for her future professionals.

One phrase Paulina lives by is: "Life is short, enjoy it."

Thank you, Asha, Fran, and Paulina, for the passion, knowledge, and dedication you bring to AIB each and every day! ❤️

The beauty industry is full of opportunity, and our future professionals got an inside look at what that journey can look like thanks to the local team at Supercuts💇‍♀️✨

A huge thank you to and for investing in the next generation of beauty professionals! ✂️❤️ Through conversations about career opportunities, advancement potential, and life behind the chair, our future professionals gained valuable insight into the many paths available within the industry and the opportunities that await them after graduation.

The presentation also included hands-on haircutting demonstrations featuring a clipper cut with stacking from the nape and a layered/stacked haircut, giving our future professionals the opportunity to learn new techniques, ask questions, and see industry skills in action.

Experiences like these help bridge the gap between the classroom and the salon floor, exposing future professionals to different career opportunities while continuing to build their technical knowledge and confidence.

Thanks again, Supercuts, for helping our future professionals expand their skills, knowledge, and confidence! 💇‍♀️💈✨

Things got a little hairy around AIB... 😏💇

National Wig Out Day gave us the perfect excuse to trade our everyday looks for something a little bigger, brighter, and much more dramatic. Safe to say our future professionals and staff embraced the chaos😂🎉

Who says beauty school can’t be a little extra? It was all about having fun, showing off our personalities, and celebrating creativity one wig at a time. 🎉✨

A new chapter officially began in Bradenton, and we could not be more excited to be part of this incredible community❤️✂️✨

Our Grand Opening Celebration was more than just the opening of a new campus; it was the beginning of new opportunities, new careers, and new dreams for so many future professionals in this community. Seeing the incredible turnout, meeting so many amazing local families and businesses, and feeling the support from the community reminded us exactly why we expanded to Bradenton in the first place.

For over 20 years, American Institute of Beauty has been dedicated to changing lives through education, and now we’re proud to bring that same passion, experience, and career-focused training to the Bradenton/Sarasota area. From beauty and barbering to massage and wellness, we’re excited to help shape the next generation of professionals right here in Manatee County.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us, supported us, volunteered, partnered with us, and welcomed us with open arms. Special thank you again to and .andrade with and of course the for the awesome ribbon cutting! This is only the beginning, and we cannot wait to continue building lasting connections within this incredible community🫶
