Our Fundraiser Starts Soon!

⏱ Fuguitt Elementary School , our fundraiser starts in 5 days! Students should get a head start by registering at app.PoP4Kids.org using Group Code: EGBDK to participate. Add at least 10 family & friends as contacts to unlock the Spin-to-Win game for a chance to win from over $125,000 in nationwide prize giveaways. Stay tuned for launch day! 🎉

Good evening, Fuguitt Families!
What a great first week of school! Our students are settling into their classrooms, learning routines, and getting into the groove of a successful school year. We are so proud of how well our Gators have started!

Here are a few important reminders as we head into another great week:
🚗 Car Circle Safety Reminder
Please DO NOT park in the car circle. If you need additional time to help your student, please find a parking spot or pull all the way to the front of the car line. We need to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.
Please also make sure your student exits from the passenger/right side of the vehicle. This is an important safety expectation for everyone.

🏫 Open House – Wednesday
Our Open House is this coming Wednesday August 19 from 5:30–6:30 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for additional information. We hope to see you there!

👕 Spirit Wear
We still have a limited number of spirit wear T-shirts available:
Student shirts: $10
Adult shirts: $15

💳 SchoolCash
Parents, please be on the lookout for an email from SchoolCash. Our district is transitioning to this system, which will be used to pay for items and activities such as field trips, Adopt-a-School opportunities, and other student-related expenses. Please follow the instructions in the email and set up your account.
Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and communication during our first week. We know the beginning of a school year comes with lots of moving pieces, and we appreciate everyone working together. We will always work toward finding solutions that work for our students, families, and staff as a team.

🐊 Gator Guideline for Success: Be Respectful!
Take a few minutes this week to talk with your child about what being respectful looks like at home, at school, and when interacting with others.

🎉 Fuguitt Spirit Shirts Are Here! 💚

Show your Fuguitt pride with a new spirit shirt! Shirts will be on sale Monday–Thursday from 9:00–11:00 AM in the front office.

Students can wear spirit shirts any day of the week! 💚

👕 Youth: $10 | Adult: $15

💵 Please bring exact cash or a check payable to Fuguitt Elementary PTA.

🎨 Colors Available: Gray & Green, with limited quantities of Blue, Purple, and Maroon.

Dear Fuguitt Gators! 🐊

We are excited to welcome our returning and new families for the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you've had a wonderful summer, and we can't wait to begin another amazing year together. We're also proud to celebrate Fuguitt's improvement from a "C" school to a "B" school! 🎉

📅 Important Dates & Reminders:

🏫 Summer Office Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

📚 Meet the Teacher: Friday, August 7, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

📝 Parent Forms: Available in Focus beginning July 27. All forms must be completed online, except the Fuguitt front office information form.

👕 School Supply List & Dress Code: Please see our previous Facebook post for both.

🐊 Spirit Wear: Available in the front office Monday–Thursday, 9:00–11:00 a.m. (Student shirts $10 | Adult shirts $15)

🍎 Breakfast & Lunch: Free for all students! Breakfast begins at 8:15 a.m.

🚌 Bus Transportation: Information will be sent by the district. Questions? Call Transportation at 727-587-2020.

📅 First Day of School: Tuesday, August 11

⏰ School Hours: 8:45 a.m.–2:55 p.m.
Students may not be dropped off before 8:15 a.m. On the first day only, parents are welcome to walk students to class. Please exit campus by 9:00 a.m. to allow instruction to begin.

🎒 Please label backpacks, water bottles, and other belongings with your child's name and grade level.

🚗 Carline Reminders: Please remain in your vehicle, have students enter/exit on the passenger side, and park if you need additional time. Thank you for your patience as we safely move students through arrival and dismissal.

🏫 Open House: Wednesday, August 19, 5:30–6:30 p.m.
