Big week at PGCC!! We have concerts include the String Chamber Group at 1:00 on Monday, April 27th, Concert Choir & Honors Recital on Wednesday April 29th at 1:00 and finally the Swingin' Owls on Saturday, May 2nd at 7:30pm. All performances are free and open to the public. www.pgcc.edu/arts

A big week ahead at Prince George's Community College
April being Jazz Appreciation Month, we will be having our high school Jazz Festival this Saturday, April 11th. H.S. bands start at 2:00pm and conclude with the PGCC Swingin' Owls.

The evening concert will highlight the Dr. Javier Nero Jazz Orchestra fresh off their CD release party for "Alkebulan" on March 20th. The whole day is Free and open to the public. Come celebrate Jazz Appreciation month with us next weekend.

Saturday, April, 11th is the 4th Annual Prince George’s Community College Jazz Festival. Starting at 2:00pm, high school bands will perform. At 4:30pm, the PGCC Swingin’ Owls will perform and at 7:30, the evening will be capped off with the Dr. Javier Nero Jazz Orchestra in concert.

Jazz Festival Invitation!

The 4th Annual Prince George's Community College is scheduled for Saturday, April 11th. It is open to all middle and high jazz bands and choirs. Admission for the festival is FREE! Deadline for applications will be March 1st.

Fantastic performances today at PGCC. I would like to thank Dr. Enrique Reynosa, Prof. Lori Fowser, and Dr. Kyung hee Park for leading our ensembles in concert. Our students are better for having you in their lives. Thank you for all you do.
