What a fantastic Back to School Night at Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School! 🧡💙

Our campus was full of Phantom families exploring classrooms, meeting teachers, discovering opportunities for students, and getting a glimpse of all that’s ahead this year!

A special thank you to Clothes To Kids Clothes To Kids, Inc. and Take Stock in Children/Pinellas Education Foundation Pinellas Education Foundation for joining us and connecting our families with incredible community resources.

Families also helped us kick off our “When Phantoms Dream Big” community art project by writing their dreams for our students and school community on feathers that will become part of our wings. 🪽✨ We can’t wait to watch those wings—and those dreams—grow throughout the year!

Thank you to every family, staff member, student, and community partner who helped make the evening such a wonderful celebration of our Phantom community.

✈️ Science is taking flight in our Center for Gifted Studies! Our young scientists put their ideas to the test with an airplane lab, experimenting with flight and measuring distance to see science in action.

From predictions to launches to data collection, these Phantoms were learning by doing—and having a little fun along the way! 🔬📏✈️

🎨🎶🧪 The first week of school is in the books, and our Phantoms are already creating, experimenting, collaborating, and making some noise!

From colorful artwork and hands-on projects in art, to science experiments with those mysterious red cups, to making music in orchestra and chorus, our classrooms are already buzzing with learning.

We love seeing our students jump right in, try something new, and get back to doing what school is all about—learning together!

What a great way to kick off the new school year! 💙🧡 We were excited to welcome PCSB School Board Member Laura Hine and Area 4 Superintendent Paula Texel to Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School on the first day of school, pictured here with our Principal, Ija Hawthorne.

There’s nothing better than welcoming our Phantoms back to campus! Dr. Dunlow, Assistant Principal, and Ms. Hawthorne, Principal, were out celebrating our students and kicking off a brand-new year filled with Attendance, Attitude, and Achievement!
