At It Takes a Village Early Learning Center the Lead Teacher's job description includes but not limited to...

Planning, teaching and implementing the curriculum and providing quality care for children 18 months to 3 years old.
Planning and executing indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the development levels of the children.
Collaborate with co-teacher on developing new classroom projects, lesson plans and monthly themes.
Meet with parents, staff and administration.
Observe and document quarterly behavior and learning abilities.
Familiarity with state licensing requirements.
Requirements to the be considered for Lead Teacher position:

Must be 19 years old or older
A high school diploma, a certificate of high school equivalence
6 semester hours or 90 clock hours or their equivalent of approved pre-service training, or hold the Child Development Associate Credential issued by the Child Development Associate National Credentialing Program
9 clock hours of approved pre-service training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public
3 clock hours of approved training in complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act

It Takes a Village Childcare is a state licensed, in-home family childcare facility. I am certified teacher with seven years of classroom teaching experience. My staff and I are committed to providing a secure, educational, and fun social environment for children in all developmental stages between the of ages 6 weeks and 5 years of age.
