Summers can be busy. To prepare for the upcoming school year, or to simply encourage the habit of reading, schedule Daily Reading into your day.
Begin by reading a book together, or by having your child read aloud. For more advanced readers, begin by scheduling a 15 - 30 minute time block for reading and to talk about what was read. ⏱

Although the week is coming to an end, we want to honor the invaluable Teacher.
The teacher's day is not finished once the students leave school. Teachers continue to work by providing feedback on students' assignments, and by preparing engaging instruction for the next day and weeks ahead. A teacher's life is dedicated to educating the next generation.
