The Movement School

Part two of our visit to The Ringling brought our students into the colorful world of the circus, where imagination, history, movement, and performance came to life.

From exploring the incredible circus displays to experiencing the excitement and wonder of “The Greatest Show on Earth,” our students were immersed in a world filled with curiosity, creativity, and discovery. At The Movement School, meaningful learning happens when students can move, explore, and experience the world around them together.

Part one of our tour at Ringling Museum Sarasota focused on the world of portraiture through a teacher-led interactive experience exploring how artists capture personality, emotion, and story through art.

What made the experience so meaningful was watching every student participate, engage, and connect in their own unique way. At The Movement School, learning is not confined to a classroom — it comes alive through experience, exploration, and community.

At The Movement School, Mother’s Day is about celebrating connection, love, and the moments we create together. 💙

Weeks ago, our students visited Practically Picasso to create special hand-painted vases just for their moms. Today, those vases were filled with fresh flowers hand-picked by each student, alongside portrait surprises tucked into their Mother’s Day gift bags.

Our annual Muffins with Moms gathering was filled with smiles, hugs, laughter, and beautiful memories shared between families, students, and staff.
