“I hope my words will adequately express myself. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say, that I am truly grateful for the Major Opportunity you have given me to serve as the Associated Student Organization President. It has been a pleasure to serve my beloved college and a greater pleasure to advocate for Laredo College's students' needs.
I wish each and every administrator, staff, faculty, and student members; a productive and successful 2023-2024 academic year. I wish you all the best of luck in all of your endeavors that may come down the road. As this semester comes to a close, it is my profound and utmost, sincere wish that all of you have had the opportunity to experience a semester full of memories, fun, knowledge and ultimate growth.
Finally, it seems that A*O has met many key goals set for this academic year. Events such as the Student Service Fair, The Student Club Fair, the continuous improvement project, promo videos a few of the many accomplished goals. Laredo College student body is a force to be reckoned with. It is to determination and complete will that has inspired me and the rest of Student Government to fulfill our daily work.
To those graduating with me, may commencement be the first of many steps on your professional journey to your career and further your academic goals. I will miss you all and hope that LC will continue as a source of Major Opportunity. I wish the new 2023-2024 A*O administration all the very best. I know you will continue to work for the needs of the student body. Surely, your dedication and active support will push the A*O and the college forward!

Hey Palominos! Students who are currently enrolled in Spring 2023 and are registered for at least 1 face-to-face or hybrid course, have received a $300 credit to their account that can be used to purchase 30 meals. Students will use their student ID to purchase up to 2 meals per day. The meal plan will expire on May 12 and unused funds will not roll over. For questions or more information, you are more than welcome to contact the Office of Student Life.

Palomino students had the opportunity to kick off their Spring Break by joining our annual Safe and Sober activities. Student life had mocktails and several games, campus police had a drunk driving simulation, and A*O had a photo booth! We want to wish our Palominos a safe and fun Spring Break!

In February 23, 2023 at Billy Hall Student Center, A*O hosted a Student Club Fair and it was a huge success!We had a lot of students visit the club booths and learn more about the many clubs we offer at Laredo College!
