☀️📚 DIVE INTO THE 2026 SUMMER READING CHALLENGE! ☀️📚
​Hey Cowboys! Summer is officially here, but the learning doesn’t stop! We are so excited to launch our 2026 Summer Reading Challenge! Keep those reading muscles strong and earn some awesome rewards when we return to school.
​Here is everything you need to know to get started:
​📝 How to Participate:
​1️⃣ Select 1 book from your upcoming grade level's list and complete the accompanying activities.
2️⃣ Turn it in to your homeroom teacher during the first week of school (Aug. 12th–14th).
3️⃣ Earn a reward! A surprise token will be awarded to all participating students!
🏅 BONUS: Students who go above and beyond and complete the activities for both books on their list will also receive a special End of the Year certificate in May 2027!

FREE for children and teens ages 18 and younger, and enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21.

No registration required!

Please note that sites that offer meals for upper-level students serve the Baked Chicken Leg w/ Mac and Cheese with a Roll.

⚾️ Get Caught Reading This Summer! 📚
​Hey parents and students! Are you ready to knock it out of the park? We are challenging all of our 1st through 4th graders to join the AR Summer Reading Challenge!
​Keep those reading muscles strong all summer long and earn your spot in the spotlight. Here is everything you need to know:
​🏆 The Goal
​Earn 25 points during the summer to be recognized in our big 26-27 AR Kick Off event!
​📅 Important Dates & Times
​When: June 1st – June 26th
​Testing Times: Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
​📝 The Details
​Open to all incoming 1st - 4th Grade students.
​To earn points, you must score 85% or higher on your AR tests.
​Need help or have questions? Reach out to your School Librarian for more info.

​Goodbye, 2025-2026 school year—it has been an absolute blast! Look out, Summer 2026, here we come for some fun in the sun! 🏖️✨
​We sent our amazing Cowboys off with a week packed full of unforgettable activities. From our final school lunches, a high-energy 3rd & 4th grade hall party, and the inspiring Exceptional Olympics 2026, to summer-vibe phone calls, Kinder Graduation, and Pre-K dance parties—we did it all! 🎶🏆🎓
​A very special shout-out to our 5th graders as they get ready to take on middle school! We are so proud of you and know you'll do amazing things. 🎒🌟
​Thank you to our incredible students, staff, and families for making this an extraordinary year. Have a safe, wonderful summer, and we will see you back on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 for our first day of the 2026-2027 school year! ❤️
