⚠️ CLASSROOM TEMPERATURES REPORTED AT BONNIE GARCIA ELEMENTARY. ⚠️ 87°F INSIDE A CLASSROOM 🥵
Temperatures reportedly reached 82–83°F during instructional time on September 2 and 87°F 🥵 inside one affected classroom on September 3.

Administration did relocate the affected students to rooms with functioning A/C, and we appreciate that immediate response.

But moving classrooms cannot become the permanent solution.

When will these A/C units be repaired, and how many other UISD classrooms are experiencing the same problem?

Our students and teachers deserve safe, comfortable classrooms where learning can take place.
