👵👴💐 Grandparents Day at Happy Hearts Learning Center! 💐👴👵

What a beautiful time we had celebrating our wonderful grandparents at Happy Hearts Learning Center 1 ❤️

On September 11, we welcomed our grandparents for a special Donuts with Grandparents celebration from 9:00–10:00 AM. 🍩☕️ Our little ones were so excited to share this special morning filled with smiles, hugs, laughter, and precious memories.

To all of our amazing grandparents, thank you for joining us and making this celebration so special! Your love, wisdom, support, and presence mean so much in the lives of our children. 🌷💕

🇺🇸 ❤️ Happy Hearts Learning Center 1 & 2 — Remembering 9/11 ❤️ 🇺🇸

Today, our school-age students participated in a special Remembering 9/11 activity to honor and remember those whose lives were affected on September 11, 2001.

Through an age-appropriate activity, our students learned about kindness, courage, unity, helping others, and the importance of remembering our heroes. 🗽🇺🇸

We encouraged our children to understand that even during difficult moments, people can come together to help, support, and care for one another. ❤️🤍💙

🌈 Create Your Feelings Sensory Bottle

A simple classroom activity:

Materials: Clear plastic bottle, water, clear glue, glitter, sequins/beads, food coloring, and emotion-themed colors.

Activity: Have each child choose a color that represents how they feel today—😊 happy, 😢 sad, 😡 angry, 😌 calm, 💜 loved, or 😟 worried. Let them add their chosen colors and decorations to the bottle, then fill it with water and clear glue and securely seal the lid.

As children shake their bottles, talk about how our feelings can feel “shaken up,” but when we stop, breathe, and watch everything slowly settle, our bodies can begin to feel calmer too.

Our Focus of the Week is EMOTIONS! 😊😢😡🥰

This week, our little learners are exploring their feelings and learning how to identify, name, and express their emotions in a healthy way. We are talking about how every feeling is important and that it’s okay to feel different emotions throughout the day. 💕

🎨 Color Monster Activity! 👾🌈
At our table activity, the children are getting creative and making their very own Color Monster! Each child gets to choose colors that represent their feelings and create a monster that is uniquely theirs.

💛 Focus of the Week: Emotions

This week, our children are learning about emotions! They are exploring different feelings, learning to identify and name their emotions, and understanding that all feelings are okay. 😊

🎨 Table Activity: Create Your Own Color Monster

At the table, children are creating their own Color Monster inspired by their emotions. They will choose colors that represent how they feel and use their creativity to make their own unique monster.

This activity encourages children to:

* Identify and express their emotions
* Connect colors with different feelings
* Practice communication and self-awareness
* Explore creativity through art 🎨
* Understand and respect their own feelings and the feelings of others 💕
