Texas A&M International University’s IBC Bank and Commerce Bank 2025–2026 Keynote Speaker Series presents Swimming Against the Current: The Evolution and Challenges of the U.S.–México Border Economy, featuring Dr. James Ge**er, Senior Fellow at the Center for U.S.–Mexican Studies at UC San Diego and Professor Emeritus of Economics at San Diego State University.

The lecture will take place Wednesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. in the TAMIU Student Center Ballroom (STC 203). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
