Our program is designed to help students majoring in the STEM fields overcome various academic and financial barriers by providing them with:
Focused, specific, and personalized advising regarding STEM academic programs
Tools to empower students to develop a STEM Scholar Development Plan and Agreement. Workshops to assist students in building effective resumes, interview techniques, study skills

, time management, etc. Interaction with peers, professionals and faculty at Laredo Community College
Financial aid advice regarding scholarships, stipends,and internship opportunities
Transfer assistance by creating pathways and articulations with 4-year colleges and universities. Workshops including essay writing tips, university applications assistance
Ongoing support and resources to guide students through completion of their STEM-related program of study.
