🎉 May Recap at Sandy's Little Academy!

🌸What a busy, beautiful, and bright month we just wrapped up!Here is a look at what our amazing kiddos learned and explored this May:

🚸Letter of the Month: We mastered the letter S with fun sun, star, and snake crafts!

☀️Math Stars: Everyone practiced counting and writing the number 7. 🔢

✨️Color Watch: We filled the classrooms with the color blue.

🔵Memorial Day: The children learned about honors and created patriotic art. 🇺🇸Every single student had a blast showing off their hard work, creativity, and growing skills this month. We are so proud of our little learners!✨️

R is for Rainbow! 🌈✨

Our little learners had a truly magical time wrapping up our Letter of the Week! For Letter R, we dove headfirst into a vibrant, hands-on rainbow activity.
Not only did they have an absolute blast creating their own colorful masterpieces, but so much meaningful learning was packed into the fun:
🔴 Color Recognition: Identifying and naming each beautiful shade.
🟠 Sorting Skills: Grouping materials together by color.
🟡 Spatial Awareness: Recognizing exactly where each color goes to build a proper arc.
Learning works best when kids can touch, see, and build it themselves!

✨️Pure joy in the backyard today!
Our outdoor play turned into a magical bubble chase. The kids completely lost themselves in the fun.

Here is what went down:
🫧Chasing bubbles across the grass.
🫧Jumping high to pop them.
🫧Reaching for the sky with big smiles.
✨️It is amazing how something so simple brings so much laughter. Moving our bodies and soaking up the fresh air is the best way to spend the afternoon.✨️
