🔴🔵 Winter Leadership Seminar 2025 🔴🔵

Today, our middle school and high school students participated in the Winter Leadership Seminar at Laredo College as part of the Youth Leadership Laredo Program – Class of 2025, in partnership with the Laredo Chamber of Commerce.

Students had the opportunity to hear from an incredible lineup of speakers, including Marcela Delgado — Miss Universe Latina–El Reality, Miss Universe México–Tamaulipas 2024, E! Latina storyteller, TV host/producer, and JOVANI It Girl 🔴🔵 — along with Adrian Garcia from GateGo and other distinguished speakers who shared their experiences, insights, and leadership journeys.

This impactful seminar empowered our students to grow as leaders, think big about their futures, and stay motivated to make a difference in their community 🔴🔵✨

📚✨ Wrapping Up Our Book Fair with Our 8th Grade Scholars & Families! ✨📚

We had a wonderful time closing out our Book Fair with our 8th grade scholars and their families! Along with exploring great reads, families were treated to an informative presentation from Harmony School of Excellence - Laredo, highlighting the many academic programs and college-readiness supports available to our scholars.

Current HSE scholars shared real-life experiences, giving families a firsthand look at what the journey ahead can look like. Counselors were also on hand to present valuable information on early college opportunities and career pathways, helping families feel confident and excited about the next step toward high school and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event meaningful and inspiring for our scholars’ future! 🎓📖💙
