The ACT on IDEAs Undergraduate Research Fellowship (URF) application for Spring 2018 is now open. The URF program is a funding opportunity designed to give undergraduate students an authentic research experience under the guidance of a faculty mentor. The URF is available every semester and open to rising Junior (75-89 completed credit hours) and Senior (90+ completed credit hours) students with a 3.2 minimum GPA. Students interested in applying must:

1. Access the following Link  https://tamiu.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/144649
2. Log in with your Student Credentials,
3. If you do not have an account in Trailblazers, click on create account. You will be directed to the URF application,
4. Complete electronic application,
5. Submit.

The deadline to submit a URF application for Spring 2018 is November 17th, 2017. Please note that proposed faculty mentors will have to complete their application section before the deadline. The faculty mentor will receive an e-mail with instructions after student application is received. For more information, e-mail [email protected] or stop by the ACT on IDEAS Office in KL 333.
