🐊 GATOR AWARDS: Procedures & Protocols

🐊💜Gator Families: Award Ceremonies Start TOMORROW! 💚🌟

The moment we've been waiting for all year is finally here! We are so excited to celebrate the incredible hard work, dedication, and achievements of our amazing Gator scholars.

To ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, please read these critical updates and reminders for the next two days:

🎟️ CRITICAL BRACELET INFO (Distributed TODAY!)
Grade-level entry bracelets are being sent home with your student TODAY. Please check your child's backpack as soon as they get home!
Strict Policy: No extra bracelets will be distributed.
🚫 No Bracelet = No Entry. Please keep these in a safe place, as they are required for campus access on your child's ceremony day.

📅 Ceremony Schedule
Make sure you arrive on the correct day for your child's grade level:
Tuesday, May 19th (Tomorrow!): 3rd-@8:30 and 5th Grade- @9:30
Wednesday, May 20th: 1st @8:30, 2nd @09:30, and 4th Grade @10:30
Friday, May 22nd: Kinder @8:30

🚨 Safety Rules & Expectations
For the safety and clear visibility of all attendees, please remember:
🛑 Required: Clear bags and IDs
🛑 NOT ALLOWED: Gift bags, balloons, or flower bouquets/vases cannot be brought into the ceremony area.
🥳 Celebrate at Home: We highly encourage you to surprise your little ones with these fun treats at home or in the car after school! 🎈💐

🚗 Parking Guidelines
Parking is limited, so we appreciate your patience!
School Loop: Starting at 8:00 AM, parking is allowed on the left side only.
Keep Traffic Moving: The right side of the loop must remain clear for Traffic to circulate.
Red Zones: Strictly no parking in red zones.
Overflow: You may also park along the perimeter outside of the campus.
Reminder: Regardless of where you park, you must still enter through the school's front entrance.

⏱️ Session Transitions
We have a 15-minute gap between sessions. To ensure the next group of parents can find parking and enjoy their time:
Please exit the campus promptly so we can reset for the next group.

3rd graders were honored with a ceremony for participating in the “Why Art” program. 🎨
They received a medal and recognition for their talent in art. Our students participated in a 28 week program and learned how to develop their skills while exploring a new interest. 💚💜

This week, from May 10th through May 16th, we join the nation in celebrating National Police Week. While we honor those in uniform across the country, we want to shine a special spotlight right here at home on our very own Amparo Gutierrez Safety Patrol Crew!

Our Gator scholars have been in excellent hands all year thanks to the dedication of this incredible team.
