📢 Public Notice | Career & Technical Education

United Independent School District is committed to providing students with access to a wide range of Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year.

UISD offers CTE programs in areas including Agriculture, Architecture & Construction, Arts and A/V Technology, Business & Finance, Education, Energy, Engineering, Health Science, Hospitality & Tourism, Information Technology, Law & Public Service, and Transportation.

United ISD does not discriminate in its educational or vocational programs, services, activities, or employment practices as outlined in the district's official Public Notification of Nondiscrimination. The district also takes steps to ensure that limited English language skills are not a barrier to admission or participation in its programs.

🎉 What a fantastic start to the 2026-2027 school year! 🎉

Today, we welcomed over 200 United ISD Career & Technical Education teachers for our annual Beginning-of-the-Year Professional Development! 🍎📚

💙 A heartfelt thank you to our incredible community partners, Richard Rosas from ROTEX Trucking and Starbucks, for treating our teachers to a well-deserved breakfast! 🌮☕ ROTEX Trucking generously provided breakfast tacos, while Starbucks sponsored coffee to help our educators start the day feeling appreciated and energized. Your support means so much to our teachers and our CTE programs!

Throughout the day, our teachers engaged in a full agenda covering:

We also took time to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our CTE programs! 🎊 Because of the dedication of our teachers and students, United ISD continues to lead the way in Career & Technical Education.

🎓 85% of our graduating seniors earned an Industry-Based Certification (IBC), preparing them for college, careers, and beyond.
