🔸UNITY DAY 2024🔸

Today our USHS Counselors Hosted the UNITY DAY Talk Table where all students wore and share Orange on this day. Our Counselors spoke to the students and pledged against bullying and where students received an incentive and an orange ribbon to promote their pledge. We are Panther Proud of our students. WE ARE SOUTH! 🔸🐾🖤

Is College Planning Stressing you?

As graduation is fast approaching, the college planning process and academic requirements may overwhelm our students. Using the therapeutic benefits of art helps students release stress and unfold things about themselves they might not (be able to) with words.

Today our Panther Seniors participated in a relaxing and fun graduation themed art session.
They learned that through art, they may reduce their stress level and gained an opportunity to explore their creativity.
A heartfelt thanks to Gear Up for providing much needed snacks, our Art Instructor Irene Cantu for facilitating the session, the counseling department assistants, Senior Counselor, Mariella Chaires for organizing the SEL activity and our campus administration for their unconditional support.🩵🩵

TAMIU and Laredo College will be hosting a Financial Aid Drive, Saturday January 27th. Recruiters will be available to assist you with the FAFSA application process. Please make plans to attend as the FAFSA application is a graduation requirement.
