We’re excited to introduce Émilie Samson, one of our talented “Music and Learn French Through Music” teachers at Armelle For Kids!
With a Master’s degree in Jazz Voice from the Manhattan School of Music and over ten years of teaching experience, Émilie brings incredible musical knowledge, warmth, and creativity into every class. From voice and piano to ukulele and guitar, she helps students explore music in a joyful and encouraging way. 🎵
Émilie is passionate about helping children learn through music and language. Through songs, rhythm, and playful interaction, she creates welcoming spaces where children can build confidence while discovering French naturally and joyfully.

This Brazilian instrument looks a bit like a tambourine, but it can do so much more. With taps, shakes, and finger rolls, it creates rich rhythms that are at the heart of samba and other lively Brazilian music. 💃

The pandeiro is perfect for kids because it invites movement and creativity. Every child can find their own rhythm and style while playing.

Also known as a “thumb piano,” this beautiful instrument is played by gently plucking metal keys with your thumbs. The sound is soft, calming, and almost magical. 🎵

Originally from Africa, the kalimba has been used for generations to create soothing melodies and tell stories through music.

Children are often fascinated by how such a small instrument can create such a big, beautiful sound. It is a wonderful way to introduce listening, focus, and gentle rhythm.
