The Science Kitchen is a center for introducing students to physical sciences through hands-on exploration and problem solving.

Join us for a front-row seat to history as NASA launches Artemis II, the first crewed mission of the Artemis program. This mission will send four astronauts on a ~10-day journey around the Moon, testing the Orion spacecraft and paving the way for future lunar missions.

We’ll stream NASA’s live coverage - prelaunch through liftoff - projected on the planetarium dome for an immersive launch experience.

📅 Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 (not an April Fool’s joke!)

🕓 Launch targeted for 4:24 PM MT (with a two-hour window; backup opportunities through April 6)

We’re so excited to kick off another season of hands-on STEM for all at the University of Wyoming! 🧪🔧🧠

STEM-ology brings playful, engaging science experiences to all ages, from our youngest explorers to lifelong learners and whole families. This spring, we’ll dive into monthly themes like Bugs, Physics, and Wyoming’s Energy & Natural Resources, all led by UW scientists and educators.

Whether you’re curious, creative, or just love learning something new, there’s a STEM-ology experience for you. 💛
