Interested in being a math tutor?

This job is ideal for any student that enjoys math or teaching math! Working in the MAC looks great on a resume or CV for any student going into education. It’s also a great way to solidify your mathematical knowledge if you’re looking at graduate studies in mathematics!

Qualifications:
-Successful completion of the math core (Calc 1-3, Linear Algebra,
Differential Equations) with a B+ average.
-Applicants that have at least completed Calculus 2 and either -
Linear Algebra or Differential Equations will be considered on a
case-by-case basis.
-Availability for a minimum of 4 hours per week as well as 1 hour on
Monday mornings for the weekly staff meeting.

Responsibilities:
-Assist students on a drop-in basis with anything from homework,
exam reviews, or study skills.
-Attend weekly staff training.
-Demonstrate a willingness to improve as a tutor.
-Demonstrate a willingness to master core subject material.
