In the month leading up to the 2024 general election, Wyoming residents were surveyed on a number of issues relevant to the population. The biennial survey of Wyoming residents is conducted by UW’s School of Politics, Public Affairs, and International Studies in partnership with the Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center. The questions focus on attitudes toward government, elected officials, candidates for office, and contemporary policy issues.

Now Hiring Telephone Interviewers!

We are happy to announce that we are hiring part-time telephone interviewers at $15 per hour!
WYSAC is accepting applications from bright, energetic people. The work is interesting, the pay is good, and the hours are flexible. Pay is competitive at $15/hr. We are only hiring for our on-site call center in Laramie; we do not offer positions for remote employment.
PICK YOUR SCHEDULE!
Standard operating hours are currently Sunday through Thursday, 4:00pm – 9:00pm, and Monday through Friday, 12:00pm – 4:00pm, and Saturday, 1:00pm-5:00pm.
Requirements:
- Computer literacy
- Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to communicate with people over the phone
- Be willing to follow set procedures
- Reliably make your scheduled shifts
Interviewers work with a user-friendly CATI (Computer-Aided Telephone Interviewing) system. The position involves contacting people by phone, going over a list of questions (appearing on the computer screen), and entering the responses on the computer.
Accuracy is of supreme importance. Survey questions are standardized and must be read exactly as written.
All of the information gathered for the survey is kept confidential, and interviewers agree to maintain that confidentiality.

We are now hiring telephone interviewers for our call center. Pay is competitive. Most interviewers make $10.50 per hour after a short probationary period, with room for increases based on performance. We have flexible evening hours; work the shifts that work best for your schedule!
Note: we practice very strict social distancing and sanitary guidelines for our call center. The job location is our physical call center.

Over half (54 percent) of Wyoming residents now say they support allowing adults in Wyoming to legally possess ma*****na for personal use. This continues the steady increase in support observed from 2014, 2016, and 2018, when support rose from 37 percent to 41 percent to 49 percent, respectively.
