It is our pleasure to announce that the Energy and Petroleum Engineering Department and ARMA student chapter are partnering to offer a certified course in Unconventional Geomechanics and Hydraulic Fracturing. This one-day course will be delivered by Dr. Neal Nagel, a well-respected industry expert with over 35 years of experience in oilfield and mining geomechanics, as well as being the owner of Oilfield Geomechanics LLC.

We invite anyone interested in attending the course, which will be offered both in-person at the University of Wyoming, Laramie, and online via Zoom, limited seats are available. To register, please scan the QR code on the flyer.

n ARMA, although we are proud to be technically strong! But also we are proud to make the learning journey joyful.

Last Thursday, we had a great time! Not only because we were thrilled to kick off our ARMA student chapter at the University of Wyoming, but more, we had the chance to network, have fun and learn more about the value of the Geomechanics with petroleum engineering fellows.

We were pleased to have Dr.Gang Han, the president of ARMA, to kickoff our journey with rock mechanics. Special thank to Vamegh Rasouli, University of Wyoming Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering and everyone who joined to celebrate and support us.
